In 4‐[(4‐chloro‐3‐nitrobenzoyl)hydrazinocarbonyl]pyridinium chloride, C 13 H 10 ClN 4 O 4 + ·Cl − , the component ions are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by a combination of three N—H⋯Cl and five C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In N ‐3,5‐dinitrobenzoyl‐ N ′‐isonicotinoylhydrazine, C 13 H 9 N 5 O 6 , the molecules are linked into a three‐dimensional framework structure by one N—H⋯O and three C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, augmented by an aromatic π–π stacking interaction.
