UC 55248 and NC 22683 at 0.5 and 1.0 lb ai/a were compared with Ethion and Omite for control efficacy of citrus red mite. Treatments were applied Feb 29 with a John Bean Sprayer equipped with a pistol-type spray gun. A rate of 5 gal/tree was applied at 400 psi (5 x 60 trees = 300 gpa). All motile stages of mite are included in figures of table recorded 5, 10, 17, 25, 31, 46, and 66 days after treatments.
