The stages and features of the housing architecture formation in Yerevan in 1920-2020 are presented. The typological principles of their architectural and planning decisions are considered. The authors emphasize the creative contribution of famous Armenian architects who laid the Yerevan’s housing architecture formation foundation. A number of recommendations for the modernization of housing built in Yerevan during the 1920-2020 period are given.
