The principles of expert system are proposed in the development of software application for calculations of rational takeoff and landing characteristics. The modular architecture is developed for the process of takeoff and landing parameters calculations in the system. A prototype of a client-server software application for electronic flight bag based on tablet computer was developed on the example of a specific type of Russian aircraft. A post-publication change was made to this article on 21 February 2020 to correct an author name.
