The article considers the challenge of using layered carbon/epoxy composite materials in a high-loaded airframe structures. It is demonstrated by a redesign of the bracket for housing a sensitive element of the spacecraft. The new design approach considering simultaneously structural and technological features of composite constructions. It can also be applied to other design tasks to develop a structure of minimum weight.
