Co-precipitation method is used to prepare Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles, and its surface was coated with titania by sonication of ammonium sulphate. These nanoparticles were analyzed using SEM, UV-Vis, FTIR and antibacterial activity. The mono dispersion and increment in size with TiO 2 concentration confirmed through SEM and good antibacterial activity is observed against gram positive and negative bacteria.
