Peer review declaration

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review : Double-blind For the review of the papers, a call was made by email voluntarily requesting some pairs for this purpose. After having the peer bank, the assignment was made on the EasyChair platform according to their profiles and the congress to which they were applying the different articles. After having all the opinions of the peers, we proceeded to send the authors for their review and correction. • Conference submission management system : All the articles that were going to be submitted, began to be received from the authors, through the EasyChair platform, likewise they were assigned to a temporary agenda in which the date and time of the conference were scheduled within the framework of the event. As it was carried out virtually, we used the Zoom platform for all the presentations during the three days that the event lasted. • Number of submissions received : 106 • Number of submissions sent for review : 106 • Number of submissions accepted : 66 • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received × 100) : 62.26% • Average number of reviews per paper : 2 • Total number of reviewers involved : 40 • Any additional info on review process : The review was carried out under the guidelines, policies and IOP criteria described in the document: Proceedings peer review policy. It should be noted that through the EasyChair platform, the reviewers had access to some questions in a questionnaire where they submitted their comments and the authors could read and update them.
