A novel method for recognition of planar object in stack via local prediction consistency is proposed in this paper. By checking the consistency of local predictions, an object can be recognized and located. The prediction method by local features under uncertain scale is emphatically discussed. According to the distribution prior for local predictions, the similarity scale can be determined and the consistent local predictions can be composited. A great number of experiments are carried out to prove the stability of this method.
