Dual active bridge is a promising bidirectional topology characterised by its versatility and operation. Power calculation is based on the average current flowing through the load. Therefore, power calculation becomes rigorous task as separate computation is needed for each mode. To mitigate the complexity of the power computation, a novel unified harmonic based power calculation has been proposed.
