
Short waveguide load for millimetre‐wave applications

A compact millimetre‐wave waveguide load with wedge‐shaped dielectric inserts is considered. Its reflectivity is studied numerically and experimentally. Chosen absorber shape and sizes provide good matching over a wide‐frequency range 37.5–53.57 GHz. Simulations are carried out for two options of waveguide sizes.
