staining for smooth muscle actin, and weakly positive or negative staining of endothelial cells for factor VIIIrelated antigen suggest a prominent perithelial component among the tumor capillaries (2±4). The ®ndings were consistent with tufted angioma. We reviewed the literature and found no cases of tufted angioma on the palm. Although extremity involvement has been reported, these lesions are usually on the proximal thigh (2±7).
