Research has been done to correlate mucous thickness of gastric mucosa and gastrocopy in NSAID patients. There was correlation between mucous thickness of gastric mucosa and gastroscopy and the result seems promising. Aim of the study is to see Hp positivity in NSAID patients. Material and methods Patients using NSAID per oral from rheumatology policlinic; cases were collected starting from 1998 August ‐ 1998 December. Result Four patient is Hp positive (cases number 23, 27, 28, and 32) out of 37 cases. Conclusions Hp positivity in NSAID cases is lower (10%) than other population (20%‐40%). The reason why is lower has to be clarified with further research.
