Summary A case of primary cutaneous aspergillosis in a 39‐year‐old woman with apparently normal immune status is reported. The woman had an occasionally suppurating nodular lesion which developed in the site of a trauma on the back of the right wrist. Diagnosis was based on histological and mycological examination. Systemic involvement was not found. Surgical excision led to clinical and mycological recovery, confirmed at follow‐up 18 months later.
