Summary  We describe a rare case of peritonitis caused by an unusual fungus, Trichoderma sp., in a patient on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis. Management of the patient consisted of Tenckhoff catheter removal and antifungal chemotherapy, but the patient died.
