This paper presents the bistatic radar reflectivities of raindrops with a real, nonspherical drop shape given by Pruppacher and Fitter. Calculations are carried out at 34.8 GHz. Comparison is made between the bistatic radar reflectivities of deformed raindrops and those of spherical raindrops. It is found that the difference between reflectivities is pronounced when the bistatic radar reflectivities are small.
