In this paper, nonreciprocal polarization conversion and anomalous beam shift phenomena of the output waves have been studied with respect to the direction of the input waves which are Gaussian beams impinging obliquely against the boundary in the dielectric multilayered structures containing a film waveguide sandwiched by electrooptic and magnetooptic media. For example, the efficient conversion characteristics for the input beams with various spot sizes have been presented, with respect to the polarization conversion. In the case of anomalous beam shift for the forward input direction, the magnitude of the shift for an incidence of a TM wave is nearly twice that of the reverse input direction. However, when the incidence in the structure is a TE wave, the magnitude of the beam shift is almost zero.
