Taking advantage of a longer series of polar motion data, we investigate again the existence of phase jumps in the Chandler wobble [ Gibert et al. , 1998]. We point out one more phase jump in 1990, and find again that geomagnetic jerks are followed by phase jumps in the Chandler wobble within at most 3.5 years.
