Reduced entorhinal cortical thickness consistently differentiated the AD-Memory group from the AD-Language, AD-Visuospatial, and AD-Executive function groups. Conclusions: The LassoLR approach enabled us to identify sets of regions in which cortical thickness values collectively are associated with AD subgroup membership. Cognitively-defined subgroups appear to have distinct regions of atrophy at the time of AD diagnosis, which supports the possibility that they represent distinct biological phenomena.
