assessment of psychopathology in dementia. Probably, emotional stress, routine burden, underestimation, overestimation, or misidentification of symptoms may increase caregiver’s bias. In addition, misinterpretation may be further increased by cognitive decline in the caregiver him-herself. For clinicians, to accurately assess psychopathological manifestations in AD is critical to appropriately diagnose and treat patient’s symptoms.
