Neuropsychological batteries have been added to trial protocols with the goal of improving on limitations of the standard clinician-rated endpoints, particularly detection of treatment effects in relevant domains for which clinician interview does not provide sufficient detection sensitivity. The strengths and weaknesses of the Neuropsychological Test Battery will be reviewed based on specific trial data.
