mock-transduced cells without affecting the levels of full-length APP. Secreted A -40 and -42 levels in the conditioned media from p120transduced cell culture were significantly reduced compared to those from mock-transduced cells. Conclusions: Protein p120 stimulates the PS/ secretase processing of cadherins but inhibits the same kind of processing of APP thus reducing production of A peptides.
