A series of cationic surfactants, N ‐(decyl N ‐tri‐ethanol ammonium Bromide) (C 10 ), N ‐(dodecyl N ‐triethanol ammonium Bromide) (C 12 ), N ‐(hexadecyl N ‐triethanol ammonium Bromide) (C 16 ) were synthesized. These compounds have been evaluated by studying their surface properties, surface parameters, biodegradability and antimicrobial and antifungal activities.
