The paper deals with the problem of vibrations and stability of an isotropic homogeneous, thermoviscoelastic ferromagnetic plate of Voigt type, arbitrary shape, small constant thickness and infinite electric conductivity, placed in a transverse uniform magnetic field and clamped along its whole boundary. The spectral analysis of the corresponding self‐adjoint quadratic operator pencil is carried out. The problem is considered in the frame of classical theory of magnetothermoelasticity.
