We define a Massau's complex chart matrix M 3 c of the third order and show that the functional equation det (M 3 c ) = 0, including three complex variables zj (j = 1, 2, 3), is expressed by our complex chart in Gaussian plane, and that an unknown number, one of z's, is obtained by a pantograph or an elementary geometrical construction. Some example of these charts are also explained.
