The cover picture shows the simplified molecular structure of the intramolecularly coordinated heteroleptic organoiodido‐stannylene [4‐ t Bu‐2,6‐{P(O)(O i Pr) 2 } 2 C 6 H 2 ]SnI that is characterized by an unusual secondary tin–tin interaction at a distance of 3.5953(4) Å. The latter is made possible by participation of the Sn–I σ* orbital the availability of which is in turn enhanced by the intramolecular P=O→Sn coordination. MO‐calculations on a model compound suggest that in the absence of such a coordination a μ 2 ‐iodido bridge is preferred over a Sn···Sn approach. It appears that this concept applies for other organoelement compounds as well. More details are discussed in the article by Jurkschat et al. on pp. 211 ff.
