Officials at the University of Florida are proud of the institution's 97% retention rate, said Tammy Aagard, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. But do all students get the support they need all the way through completion? Enrollment management efforts at the institution include initiatives to propel the neediest students to graduation. There tends to be a gap between students who receive Pell grants and those who don't in graduation rates and time to graduation, Aagard said, so officials have looked closely at that.
