This paper presents a simple clock data recovery (CDR) scheme that enhances the bit error rate (BER) performance for wireless audio applications through short‐distance visible light communications (VLCs). The whole systems and algorithms are evaluated with FPGA boards, LEDs, and photo‐diodes. The resultant BER is measured as less than 10 ‐8 at the distance of 35 cm between a transmitter and a receiver.
