Abstract The resonance scattering of γ‐quanta is considered theoretically when a radiofrequency field of large intensity with a frequency equal to hyperfine splitting is imposed on the scatterer. The spectra of scattered radiation and the dependence of the line intensities on rf field amplitude are derived. The accordance between experimental results obtained earlier and the obtained results is outlined.
