Abstract D‐wave paired isotropic Fermi system is considered in the frame of BCS approach. All admissible solutions of the energy gap equation are given for arbitrary temperatures. The geometry, value of the energy gap and the thermodynamic properties in the ground state as well in the critical temperature is presented. (© 2005 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
