A theoretical study is made of the role of the gradual capture in the photoelectromagnetic and photoconductive effects. The results obtained show that the photoelectromagnetic lifetime is not affected, while the photoconductive lifetime is affected by gradual trapping. The gradual recombination affects both the photoelectromagnetic and photoconductive lifetime.
