Molecular self‐diffusion coefficients of water (0.75 ± 0.05), Nacetylaspartate (0.27 ± 0.04), creatines (0.27 ± 0.04), and cholines (0.28 ± 0.08) × 10 −5 cm 2 s −1 were obtained from localized proton NMR spectra of rat brain in vivo using diffusion‐weighted stimulated‐echo (STEAM) sequences with a diffusion time of (Δ − δ/3) = 17 ms.
