Größenveränderungen des Spindelplaques bei Saccharomyces fragilis

Spindle plaques of Saccharomyces fragilis are morphometrically analysed. Their diameters increase when the middle part of the nucleus associated organell disappears. Later, when their distance is more than 600 nm, the heights also increase. Simultaneously an ultrastructural change of one of the spindle plaques takes place. These events are discussed in relation with plaque DNA replication and with their ability (in complex with microtubules and mitochondria) to control nuclear movement.
