Abstract 10 −3 M oxygenated aqueous solutions of thymidine preparations, labelled with 14 C and 3 H in various positions were gammairradiated. Radiation produats formed were followed in dependenae of irradiation doses. Their yields were confronted with produats formed during the autoradiolysis of long time stored tritiated thymidine preparations, and results obtained Were disaussed.
