Acids labeled with tritium at the α‐C‐atom were synthesized through the rearrangement of diazo ketones with TOH‐dioxane in the presence of silver oxide. This paper describes the preparation of p ‐methoxy‐phenylacetic‐α‐T acid, p ‐hydroxy‐phenylacetic‐α‐T acid, β‐alanine‐α‐T, γ‐aminobutyric‐α‐T acid and δ‐aminovaleric‐α‐T acid.
