Tritiated methylborane prepared from tritium gas and methaneboronic acid was used to prepare [2‐H 3 ]‐trans‐2‐phenylcyclopentylamine from 1‐phenylcyclopentene with a high specific activity (26Ci/mmol) in 20–40% yield.
