A synthetic procedure for producing [6,7‐d 2 ]trilostane is described. The synthesis was accomplished in 6 steps from androsta‐4,6‐dien‐3,17‐dione with the label being introduced by catalytic deuteration. The synthetic procedure, using [4‐ 14 C]testosterone, gave the required [4‐ 14 C]trilostane in four steps.
