Indeloxazine hydrochloride, (±)‐2‐[(inden‐7‐yloxy)methyl]morpholine hydrochloride (YM‐08054), a new cerebral activator, was labeled with 14 C for metabolic studies. The labeled material with a specific activity of 14.9 mCi/mmol was synthesized in a 42.8% radiochemical yield from potassium [ 14 C]cyanide via a process of ten steps.
