Meso 2, 6‐diamino [ 3 H‐3, 4, 5] 1, 7‐heptanedioc acid‐ (meso [ 3 H‐3, 4, 5] DAP) specific activity 30 Ci/mM was obtained by catalytic dehydrohalogenation of meso 3‐chloro and 4‐chloro DAP. LL, DD and meso DAP were analytically separated by cellulose thin layer chromatography (methanol‐water‐7 : 3).
