Here, we report the synthesis of high specific activity tritiated 2‐trifluoroacetamidobenzenesulfonyl fluoridea potent elastase inhibitor. Preparation of a ring iodinated precursor followed by palladium on CaCO 3 catalyzed deiodination with deuterium and tritium gas afforded high levels of isotope incorporation in both cases.
