Abstract A method is described for a no‐carrier‐added synthesis and purification of doubly‐labelled [5‐ 125 I, U‐ 14 C]‐iododeoxycytidine triphosphate. Iodination of 14 C‐dCTP was achieved with a radiochemical yield of 80%. Separation and purification of the reaction product were accomplished by reversed‐phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP‐HPLC).
