The addition of NaNO 2 to aqueous NH 4 TcO 4 yielded paramagnetic Tc complexes when reduced in HCl solutions. Similar or identical complexes are produced by reduction of NH 4 TcO 4 with hydroxyl amine in acidic, neutral, and basic solutions.
