Ethoxyquin (6‐Ethoxy‐2,2,4‐trimethyl‐1,2‐dihydroquinoline) was labelled in position 2 and 4 by iodine‐catalyzed reaction of (2‐ 14 C)‐acetone with p‐phenetidine. The radiochernical yield was 39,4%.
