The preparation of pentachlorobenzene‐ 14 C from pentachloro‐nitrobenzene via pentachloroaniline for metabolic studies in animals is described. The overall radiochemical yield, after purification, was 68%, at a specific activity of 5 mCi/mmol. The chemical purity of 99% was established.
