Pentachloronitrobenzene‐ 14 C 6 was synthesized in 81.7% yield by exhaustive chlorination of nitrobenzene‐ 14 C 6 . Hexachlorobenzene‐ 14 C 6 was produced in 11% yield as a byproduct of the reaction.
