Preparation of a Diphenylverdazylylphenyl Propargyl Ether 2,4‐Diphenyl‐6‐[4‐(propargyloxy)phenyl]verdazyl ( 6 ) has been synthesized by the reaction of 4‐hydroxybenzaldehyde with propargyl bromide, phenylhydrazine and phenyldiazonium chloride. The corresponding formazane yields with formaldehyde after air oxidation the stable radical.
