Abstract The first and second dissociation constants of primaquine have been determined by titration in acetonitrile‐water mixtures and estimated in pure water by using linear regression analysis. The assignments of dissociation constants were unambiguously achieved by studying the 13 C nmr spectral data obtained on the mono‐, di‐, and trihydrochloride salts.
