Communication is an essential soft skill of the Systems Engineer. Systems Engineers are called upon to communicate with numerous internal and external stakeholders. Sometimes a Systems Engineer has to communicate to top‐level senior executives. They are often known as the C‐Suite, since many of the executives’ titles start with “C,” for Chief (e.g., Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer). This paper describes several ways in which Systems Engineers can be more effective in communicating with the C‐Suite.
