In this paper, we introduce a new framework for quantitatively measuring the value of Adaptability in systems. A short review of literature is presented followed by the Adaptability Measurement Framework. Various stages of the Adaptability Framework including identifying system boundaries, various types of uncertainties and options analysis and modeling tools are discussed. The Framework is then applied to the case of measuring the value of adaptability of fractionated spacecrafts for several types of uncertain events and a brief discussion of results will follow.
