Abstract About 3000 people worldwide belong to the Thales system engineering community. This community of common practices is first of all based on human networks and coordination, but it also requires a systematic approach (tools, methods and processes) to facilitate knowledge and work sharing. This paper describes the objectives, way to proceed and main results of such a knowledge management approach.
