The task of implementing systems engineering is always a challenge. Many times, the task is given to a technical expert with little training in people skills. Further, even the social scientists struggle with getting people to change. Much has been written about change management. However, recent research in this area has developed a process for change that provides more structure to this activity and has application to systems engineering. This paper provides a translation from the social environment to the technical.
